André Abujamra is a multi artist that started his musician career with a band called "Os Mulheres Negras" together with Maurício Pereira. Singer, songwriter, guitarist, percussionist, pianist, record producer, actor and theater and film director from São Paulo, he also played with another recognized band called Karnak and has his solo projects.
In this episode of Lampeja he tells about the inspiration of the waters and of his religiosity for the composition of the track "Xangô Parô", part of his solo album Omindá (2018). And then you hear a playlist of glowing Brazilian music.
"Anelis Assumpção, Maurício Pereira, Martin Buscaglia and Mintcho Garrammone featured in the composition of" Xangô Parô ". I created the song and gave it to them to do whatever they wanted with it. In all cases the collaborations returned with the same mood I was imagining ," says André Abujamra.
