In this episode of Lampeja the singer, songwriter and visual artist from São Paulo Luiza Lian tells the story of the composition of “Iarinhas”, a song that is on her third album, Azul Moderno (2018). Produced by Charles Tixier and co-produced by Tim Bernardes, the album had a great repercussion in specialized criticism, being elected “Best Album of 2018” by APCA (São Paulo Association of Art Critics).

"'Iarinhas' is about São Paulo being so gray today, but remember that it was a city of exuberant nature, with many rivers, many affluents. It is about these rivers that remain suffocated within the city. So I sing for these rivers. As if to say that they are remembered," explains Luiza Lian.
